Camping Uk

My boyfriend left for Navy boot camp today, and I received a phone call that its a possibility that he will come home for Christmas and Christmas Day and then go right back. Has anyone ever heard of that happening? Thanks!

I am going into the navy on september 22 and I looked up 9 weeks from that date is right around thanksgiving. I have heard rumors that boot camp may be sped up due to this. is they’re any truth to this I need to know so my mom knows when to ask off from work to come see my graduation. Anything would be awsome 10 points to the best answer

I was told the weather would be cold with wind and to forget fashion-dress to be warm, but how cold and how windy. Do the street vendors still operate in the cold? Is there that much snow? Sorry I am from the south. I do not want to show up with 40 layers of clothes-doubt I could get that much on the plane. Want to know what I can do during the holidays? Any suggestions. Want to buy gifts for family back at home. Figure the clubs and bars will be open.

What happens if you’re in bootcamp over a holiday…like Thanksgiving or Christmas?

Do they give you the day off of training or do they just have you push on through? If they do give you the day off, are you allowed to have family come visit?

Anyone who been at basic when the holidays come around like chrismas will i get to come home at all?

This is a question for people who have been to marine bootcamp or have know someone in it. My bf is in boot camp now. I have heard that sometimes the DIs let the recruits call home on Thanksgiving and Christmas. I was wondering if that is true or not? Thanks!
